Glenn J. Trippe, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Founder of New Beginnings Pediatrics

A practicing pediatrician since 1979, Dr. Trippe graduated from Medical College of Ohio and completed his residency at Akron Children's Hospital where he served as Chief Resident.

Prior to coming to Norwalk, Dr. Trippe served as director of two rural health initiatives in South Carolina as part of a public health service duty. He also practiced pediatrics in Port Clinton for 10 years before coming to Norwalk. Currently, Dr. Trippe serves as FTMC's Chief of Pediatrics.

He holds teaching positions as Clinical Associate Professor for Medical College of Ohio, Clinical Assistant Professor for Ohio University, and Adjunct Clinical Professor for Marietta College.

Dr. Trippe has received numerous awards over the years including the Alumni Preceptor Recognition Award from the Medical College of Ohio at Toledo in March 2005 and the 2006 Huron County Child and Family Professional of the Year.

Dr. Trippe holds a lifetime board certification from the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the Ohio State Medical Association, the Ohio Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Physician Executives and the Medical Group Management Association. Dr. Trippe and his family reside in Norwalk. In his leisure time, he enjoys motorcycle trips and hosting neighborhood barbecues.
